Our products are made from high quality and recycled materials. This means they are not only sustainable, but also waterproof and robust thanks to special coatings. Despite quality controls and tests, it can occasionally happen that a product does not have the planned and desired properties. If one of our products has such a defect, in addition to the statutory warranty to which the consumer is entitled to the seller, we provide the following manufacturer's warranty under certain conditions.

The company onemate GmbH, Brauerstr. 12a, 76135 Karlsruhe, grants the consumer a temporary guarantee for the products it manufactures under the following conditions and to the extent described below. The manufacturer's guarantee provided applies without prejudice to mandatory statutory liability regulations, such as the Product Liability Act, in cases of intent and gross negligence, due to injury to life, body or health by onemate GmbH or its vicarious agents.

Consumer within the meaning of this manufacturer's guarantee is any natural person who is the owner of the product and has not purchased it to resell it privately or to sell it to third parties as part of their commercial or independent professional activities.

Scope of warranty

The guarantee conditions apply exclusively within the Federal Republic of Germany and the European Union. The guarantee applies to all products purchased from January 1, 2020 (proof of purchase) and directly through onemate's sales channels. Products purchased through third parties are not covered by this warranty.

onemate GmbH guarantees that your products have no production-related weak points. Claims from product liability only exist in accordance with legal regulations. As part of this guarantee, defects that can be proven to be due to a material defect will be corrected. All products are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase of the product.

We provide this guarantee by remedying, free of charge, defects that are due to a material defect within the guarantee period. These defects are usually remedied by providing spare parts and covering the costs of a repair at a regional specialist company commissioned by the customer. In rare cases that can be determined by onemate, this can also be done by subsequent delivery of the identical product or its successor model. If the same product (e.g. backpack discovery) is complained about by the same customer who has purchased this product from several sales channels (e.g. online shop and Amazon), onemate will treat this as a complaint and only take the total quantity of defective individual products into account. If several of your orders have defects, please contact our support . Onemate GmbH reserves the right to alternatively issue a refund or partial refund of the purchase price. The services described here are in addition to the statutory warranties and do not replace or limit them. This guarantee is a voluntary and non-legally binding service from onemate GmbH, which can be refused at any time without giving reasons.

Matters excluded from the guarantee

Goodwill: In the case of gifts and goodwill services to the customer, the customer is not entitled to a guarantee. A guarantee requires a purchase. The customer must have provided something in return.

Purchase from third-party providers: When purchasing onemate products from third-party providers, there is no entitlement to warranty service.

Gifted products: If products are given to you as part of one of our promotions, these products are not entitled to any warranty service.

Replacement of a replacement product

A warranty claim for a replacement that has already been received only exists if the “replacement for replacement” claim was made within two years of the date of purchase. The new claim can only be made if, as a result of the defect, the customer has fewer individual pieces of the already replaced product than he or she received with the original order (before the first complaint). In other words: We will only replace products for you if, as a result of the defect, you have fewer intact individual items than originally ordered.

Asserting the guarantee claim

To claim the guarantee, customers must fill out this form. Once the form has been received, customers will be informed about the further course of complaint processing. In the event of a warranty claim within Germany, the return will be free of charge for you.

Assertion in the event of a gift

In the case of gifts (customer 1 buys from us, gives it as a gift to customer 2, customer 2 complains), the guarantee can only be claimed if customer 2 has all relevant purchase data from customer 1 (email, order number, name, shipping address). This information may not be changed, but should be used in the complaint.

Documentation requirement

A warranty claim only exists if the customer encloses clear photos with the application. In this context, clarity means the clear recognizability of the onemate logo, the size and color of the backpack and the defect on which the application is based.

Note on the guarantee promise § 477 BGB

Completely independent of this manufacturer's guarantee and whether the prescribed guarantee is claimed in the event of a guarantee or not, the consumer's statutory warranty claims against the respective seller exist without restriction. At your own free choice, the legally regulated buyer's rights due to defects in the purchased item, in particular subsequent performance, withdrawal, reduction of the purchase price or compensation (see § 437 BGB) and the corresponding separate limitation rules in § 438 BGB can be asserted against the seller, even without asserting warranty claims become. The guarantee applies without prejudice to mandatory legal liability regulations.

Liability

The guarantee declaration does not grant any claim for compensation for consequential damages of any kind or other claims for damages. Excluded from this restriction are mandatory legal provisions according to which the manufacturer is liable outside of this voluntary guarantee declaration.

Limitation period

Claims under the guarantee must be made immediately, but no later than 2 months after becoming aware of an error. After this period has expired, the assertion of rights under the guarantee is excluded. Claims under the guarantee expire after 2 years from the end of the guarantee period.
